Our coffees are imported to our roasting plant each and every week to assure that only the latest coffee crops are being used. We then carefully roast our coffees in small batches using custom French-made Samiac coffee roasters, one of the finest coffee roasters money can buy. Samiac coffee roasters gently roast coffee by convection, using solid, cast iron drums, unlike most roasters that use perforated drums which allow too much heat to reach the coffee beans. Unlike most roasters, we never water quench our beans after roasting, but prefer to air cool the beans to ensure the peak flavors and subtle tones remain intact. Our roasting process allows us to accurately control roast development, unlike many roasters that employ "fluid bed", or popcorn type air roasters.
Your coffee is roasted to order and each bag you receive has the roast date, along with your name printed right on the heat sealed valve bag. This assures you've received the freshest, most flavorful coffee you've ever had!
